Well, everyone, it appears that an internship for librarianship is the rule more than the exception. I've received a number of personal responses that indicate internships are required in most places... and a note from a student in another part of the state who verifies that most library programs in NC do not require an internship of any kind... She also mentioned that some library programs require internships and other library programs *at the same school* do not... go figure that one out... hmmm... Aloha y'all ... Earl J.
