I am interested in organizing an unofficial chess tournament in the library at my high school. I would like to hear from other librarians who have organized such an activity. I located general rules for a multi-round tournament and other information off the Web, however much of the information I found was on formal USCF tournaments. I would like specifics about whether ability level was considered, how many rounds there were, how many days it took, etc. Anything you have that might be helpful, I'd really appreciate. Thanks!
