Funny: Thank UR Librarian Day

I rec'd a nice surprise from the staff today.  While gone to a meeting
yesterday, they planned a surprise for Thank Your School Librarian Day today.
 I walked into the library to find that the entire staff had provided
refreshments for everyone.  Classrooms brought drawings, cards, etc. to my
aide and myself throughout the day too.  One kindergarten class made a crown
for me...unfortunately I had to take it off to wait for the glue to dry!  It
was running in my hair.

I still haven't read all the cards, but one third grade boy wrote on his
card...

Mr. Pope...
Books are Red
Books are Blue
I like reading...
and so do you!

What a kick!
