Re: Hit for Hispanic authors

I had the opportunity to meet Carmen Tafolla at last year's TLA conference
in Houston.  She is delightful.  I was at her table for the Author's dinner.
She is down to earth, intelligent, good dinner company.  She also was part
of the closing luncheon for the TLA conference.  She is also an amazing
actress.  She portrayed characters from her writing and you felt as if you
had met these people in real life.

She would make an amazing presenter.  Lucky for me she lives in San Antonio.
