At my former school we compared (nad had the vendors visit)five diefferent systems, and I created a checklist of things we were sure we wanted the new system to do. (I could send a copy of the chart if you want.) The finalists were Athena and Follett, and we went with Follett, but I forget what tipped the scales in its favor. They were very similar at the time. We were very happy with Follett, and when I came to this school, I was thrilled to find it already in place. TEch support (paid for) is excellent and they have a users listserv as well. Maureen S.
