Hi, this is Betty Sherman=20
I would like to target>Disposing of discarded books.
Our school district has asked it's three LMT's to draft a policy specifying=
 what is to be done with obsolete, or badly worn books. We have plenty of =
material on weeding, but nothing on what is to be done to permanently rid =
the community of incorrect or unattractive materials so that they do not =
fall into the hands of young people.=20
Does your district have an official policy? Are there any websites =
covering this subject?
