GEN: Update on Fred Muller

I spoke with Fred this afternoon:
After  triple bypass surgery on Wednesday, he's now out of the ICU and
looking forward to getting home in a few days. Since he won't be able to get
online for at least a week, he's asked that we hold off on any emails until
then, lest his ISP crash (again).
He sounded tired, but in good spirits.

Those of us who've had the pleasure of Fred's *real* company know what fun
he is, especially when he starts using his many/varied voices.  He does a
mean Walter Cronkite, among others.   But I start to grin every time I
remember his confession that -- while in junior high -- he realized that he
could perfectly imitate the boop that advances the filmstrip projector.
Can you just imagine the havoc he must have caused with that unique talent?!
