I have a teacher who is looking for the text of the following story: A grade school teacher takes under her wing a little boy who has lost his mother. In appreciation, the boy gives his teacher a necklace that had belonged to his mother. As he grows up, he returns to this teacher over and over, marking his development and achievements. When the boy is ready to be married, he asks the teacher to have the seat of honor at his wedding that would have been occupied by his mother. Naturally, my teacher would like the text of this story by Monday morning!! TIA for any leads or assistance.
