Is there anyone out there using the Sagebrush textbook automation system. Our district is considering automating and we have seen presentations from Follett Textlink and Sagebrush (a division of Spectrum and Winnebago). I would like to know how the system is performing and what problems you have encountered. We have some concerns about their level of customer service, and if the company is likely to stay in business. Also, their palm pilot technology seemed impressive, but we were worried about keeping track of the expensive units, and if they are reliable and easy to use in real life, as opposed to the demo. Any help you can give about textbook automation in general will be helpful. Especially horror stories, because we want the district to know what they are getting themselves into.
