Am I confused? I am interested in your response. EVERYTHING has a Dewey number, but it's helpful to people if we create "fake" categories like Biography and Fiction. I tell my students that part of that is because if you keep fiction in the 800s they couldn't browse as easily and they'd have to know where the author was from (Rowling being 823 and Baum being 813).
