Thanks to all who responded to my question of whether or not you could shut off the printing of individual classroom TOPS report printing. Following are a few of the replies I received. I tried to cut out the repeating of some responses. I did receive responses from No this could not be done to the foloowing: If you are using the latest version of AR (6.XX), then go into AR Management. Login as administrator (whatever your password is). Click on Preferences, Then Class Privileges, Then Edit (on the left side of screen). A box will come up for classroom privileges preferences, check TOPS report (allow teacher to customize). Then click okay. Each teacher that wants to turn off TOPS report printout, must then login and go to classroom. Select his/her class(es) then click on Preferences, TOPS report, Edit. Select Use class preference settings. and deselect all the checks by print TOPS. *************************************************** yes. you go into the building settings and turn it off for that class. *************************************************** yes, you can turn it off for some teachers. You have to go into AR management, under the school. choose the teacher you want to turn it off for, then choose tops report, then choose edit. You can turn it off in there. *************************************************** I got these instructions by going into the Admin AR and clicking on help. I clicked on the search tab and searched for TOPS. One of the choices was this (pasted below). Pick Preferences 4. class preferences 5 edit 6 click on tops report 7. Go back and pick a class from classroom 8. pick preferences (for that class) 9. click on tops report classroom preferences ************************************************** Go in to the school preferences for TOPS REPORTS and you will see that you have enabled printing TOPS as a school preference. Then go to Classroom, choose a teacher's classroom who does not want the TOPS go to the preferences for classroom, go to TOPS printing on the menu, go to edit on the command bar on the left and click it, then you will see that you can change the preference for that teacher. If you still have trouble, call the company.
