Hi All,

I have received about a hundred ays to melt my chocolate. I will do some
experimenting, decide on what works best for my situation, and post a hit. I guess
my husband and daughter will just have to suffer htrough eating my experiments.

But, I've received about 20 requests for a full accounting of what my Harry Potter
day will be like, so here goes.

I have 40 kids registered, so we will start with a Sorting Ceremony." 40 House
Badge/ID cards will be put in a wizard hat and each kid will draw one out, write
name on card, and put around neck (yarn necklace).

Then each House will be given a schedule of "classes."
1. Ollivanders Wand making (The pretzel in chocolate thing, dipped into magical
substrances such as Ground unicorn horn (coconut), Dragon Scales (Small cake
sprinkles that look like dinosaurs), etc.

2. Care & Breeding of Magical Creatures
Assembling a "Wizard Bug," out of a yarn pom-pom tacky-glued to a 2" styro ball,
with black felt wizard hat, googly eyes, and Black card stock paper Harry Potter
glasses.

3. Potions & Potables
Refreshments of Dragons' Blood Cupcakes (Red velvet cake mix with white frosting
and a red lightning bolt put on with pastry bag) and punch that has an ice ring
made out of a contrasting color with gummy worms in it.

4. McGonagalls Malicious Magical Harry Trivia Exam.
A bingo board with assorted questions (no two exactly alike). The first in each
house to answer all their questions wins an HP prize.

One of the things that really is irritating me is that many people think I'm going
to show the movie. We're getting a lot of adults calling and coming in asking for
the video even though it is obviously still in the theaters.
