Hit: Mavica Battery

Most responses were from people with the same problem!  I did get one
response suggesting how to completely drain the battery and then try to
recharge it.
        One suggestion was to just call Sony and ask them...which I did!
Here's their response...
        "Oh, your battery died!  Well, it is only guaranteed for one year.
Yes, it really should have lasted longer than that.  We recommend that you
buy a new battery.  If that doesn't help, call us back!"
        They were nice about it, but said the only recourse was to just
buy a new battery.  They couldn't tell me why the battery had not lasted
longer nor how to make sure this didn't happen with the new battery.  They
did say that other people had called in with the same problem.
