AskERIC has launched a newly redesigned website for educators!

The staff at AskERIC have redesigned the AskERIC website
(http://www.askeric.org) to better serve the needs of the education
community. AskERIC is a personalized Internet-based service providing
education information to teachers, librarians, counselors, administrators,
parents, and anyone interested in education throughout the United States
and the world.

Our newly redesigned site includes:

* Resource Collection
http://www.askeric.org
In response to questions we've received at AskERIC, our network information
specialists have compiled over 3000 resources on a variety of educational
issues. This collection includes Internet sites, educational organizations,
and electronic discussion groups. For a list of topics A-Z, go to the
following URL: http://ericir.syr.edu/Search/topicsA-Z.html

* Ask an ERIC Expert Service
http://www.askeric.org/Qa/
Submit your education question to the AskERIC Question-Answering Service,
and within two business days you will receive a personal e-mail response
from an information specialist. Your response may contain ERIC database
citations, ERIC Digests, Internet resources, and referrals to other sources
of information.

* Question Archive
http://www.askeric.org/Virtual/Qa/archives/
We have created a collection of over 110 responses to questions received
through the AskERIC Question & Answer Service. These responses may include
ERIC citations, Internet sites, discussion groups, and/or print resource
information.

* Lesson Plans
http://www.askeric.org/Virtual/Lessons/
The AskERIC Lesson Plan Collection contains more than 1100 unique lesson
plans that have been written and submitted to AskERIC by teachers from all
over the United States.

* ERIC Database
http://www.askeric.org/Eric/
The ERIC database, the world's largest source of education information,
contains more than one million abstracts of documents and journal articles
on education research and practice. The database is updated monthly.

* Mailing Lists
http://www.askeric.org/Virtual/Listserv_Archives/
AskERIC maintains the archives of 25+ education-related discussion groups.
You can search the archives or browse through each month sorting by date or
thread.

We look forward to having you visit our new site.
