Hi all, There were requests for grades 1,2, and 3 today so I would like to add mine for grades 4 and 5. We have a big science project coming up and these kids need to know how to do searches beyond the basic Yahooligans searches. They have a hard time generating keywords, asking good questions, and you name it. I am getting frustrated. What strategies do you use to teach internet search skills to 4th and 5th graders?? (I am not interested in any web sites or canned packages just things that have worked well for you). I'll post a hit. Carol Harma, Thurston Elem, Springfield, OR charma@efn.org PS: I mentioned search skills but evaluating sites fits in there too. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
