Did anyone else catch the piece on NPR's' All things Considered about weeding books from school libraries in Philadelphia? (broadcast either 1/3 or 1/4) I was a little disappointed in AASL's response and where are the librarians in all this? The person interviewed said they were going to train people to weed school libraries. While I was upset about the types of books still in school libraries I was not happy with the way it was presented on NPR. I guess I need to respond to them-but was curious if anyone else heard the piece. It got my blood boiling!! If you didn't catch it go to NPR's website and take a listen.
