Our state, unlike many others, is having a budget crunch this year. We have had a state wide purchase of Infotrac for 2 years. This has saved my library alone about $8000 in subscription fees. We have to convince the legislature how great a tool this is. I know many, many states have these plans and you rich states have several. Does anyone live in a state where there is no subsidized subscription to an on-line periodical database? Also if you live in one of Montana's border states I would be interested in knowing what services are purchased through a state wide contract? I need to get this information to my legislative representatives as soon as possible.
