HUMOR: Warning for LM_NET...

Perhaps we should have a warning label for the listserv in
order to provide a little insight to what goes on here
before individuals get on, get irritated, get loud, get
abusive, get flamed, and then get off. . .  8-)

Hmmmm...

WARNING:  Lurking on this listserv might cause one to
aggravate, agitate, arrogate, educate, elevate, eliminate,
elongate, illuminate, imitate, intimidate, irritate, and
exasperate.  LM_NET is intended to be accessed in small
doses over a long period of time.  To consume larger doses
over shorter periods of time might cause an addiction.
Addiction is demonstrated by any or all of the following
symptoms: 1 - getting up in the middle of the night to use
the bathroom and stopping by the computer to see if any
LM_NET messages have come in FIRST; 2 - long periods of
solitude with only the light of the monitor screen to help
locate the banana and mayonnaise sandwich sitting next to
the computer that someone had delivered a minute or two
ago - or was that an hour or two?; 3 - extreme depressive
drowsiness during daylight hours followed by
munchies-filled, manic nights during which EVERY LM_NET
message must be read; cataloged; moved to an appropriate
computer folder; and responded to when necessary; 4 - person
to person discussions that always begin with, "The members
of LM_NET believe. . .".
