One of my AG fourth graders came in last week and stumped me good. I've been searching for the answer to his question for quite a while and have decide to ask you folks. He wants to know how many signature need to be on a petition in order to for someone to run for president. The only thing I have found so far is that there needs to be a percentage of the voting populace from the states. That article did not say if it has to be EVERY state or just a few or how large the percentage is. Help? TIA T. K.
