New grief book for men and boys by a former men's issue
syndicated columnist (I read him in the Detroit Free Press.)
Looks good on a big issue in high school.

"Father Loss: How Sons of all Ages Come to Terms with the Death
of their Dads"
(Ellen Creager, Detroit Free Press review gives it 3 of 4 stars
and calls it "A close look at men's great sorrow.")

Detroit Free Press, Sunday, 21 January 2001,
"Choices" section, "Books" page 4F.

Just now published by Hyperion, 256 pages, $23.95

Creager also says:
"...moving...insightful...not maudlin...personal storeis he includes
from regular and famous men...Using statistics from a survey he
commissioned..."

Looks good, worth investigating, I'm planning to buy.
by Neil Chethik, Ann Arbor, Michigan native,
I really enjoyed his column when he wrote.
He'll be at Borders in Ann Arbor this Wed 24th, 7:00 p.m.,
for book signing;
then he'll be speaking at the UM later this week
and at a church in Detroit on the weekend.
