Dear colleagues,

Our Social Studies teacher teaches a course in "isms" (socialism,
communism, Marxism, etc.) He claims that his text is difficult for English
as a second-language students. He asked if I had any support materials he
could use for his class. Can anyone give me suggestions?

Thanks to those who sent me titles of novels to add to the English
department's reading list to create a more culti-cultural curriculum at our
school.

Thanks again,

Janet Schuh, librarian
