HIT: Web Authoring

Thanks to those who responded.  I have not gotten to try all of these
yet, but the suggestions are:  Download PageSpinner for a free 21-day
trial; software is $30.  Use Notepad and teach some simple HTML; there
is a tutorial at  http://www.cwru.edu/help/introHTML/toc.html. Use the
software that comes with Netscape or Explorer; that is, Communicator or
FrontPage Express.  Apparently FrontPage is similar to PowerPoint, so
students could practice with PowerPoint if the former were not
immediately available. FirstPage is free and powerful, but maybe a
little complicated.  Arachnopilia is at
http://www.arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/index.html.  Finally, "try
clipartconnection.com for thousands of clip art and animated clips that
are free and may be downloaded."
