summer reading

Hi,

For mystery readers, I discovered Janet Evanovich this past year and read all
7 of hers as quickly as I could.  The main character is a female bounty
hunter. It is full of humor and adventure.  I am waiting for the 8th to come
out.

As always, I would always recommend Barbara Kingsolver.  Reading Poisonwood
Bible changed the way I think about Africa. I also enjoyed Prodigal Summer by
her.  It's amazing how different those two titles are, though, Poisonwood is
much much much more intense.
