May I say "WOW!!?" In less than 12 hours, I have discovered that there many many essays and websites are devoted to this topic, and I have quite a package of resources to give to my library patron (a young undergrad) on this. I know he will be thrilled. Thank you to all who replied. Several wrote asking for a hit, so I am busy compiling one as I write this.
