Is it my imagination or are there LOTS more posts these days from current classroom teachers working towards library degrees? Is this due to the increasing number of library openings out there, or has this always been the case and I've just never noticed it? I had a former colleague once tell me that "Of course, librarians who are originally classroom teachers are taken more seriously than those who are not!" I've always been bothered by that remark. Just pondering, I guess, and would welcome your comments...
