Janice, I work at Sweet Home High school. The best response I ever came
up with was that I chose Sweet Home because the first letters of the name
of the school spelled the librarians' favorite word - "SH!"
Run with the joke - don't be sarcastic. Trust me, this takes all the wind
out of their sails. They won't know what to say next! So enjoy it! The
stereotypes are always there. Nothing you can do about them.
