Yes! A few years ago I took a ASL course, and bought the cheap version of
the American Sign Language Dictionary by Martin L. A. Sternberg.  It is
the Abriged edition of American Sign Language: A Comprehensive Dictionary,
which came with a CD-ROM,
but required more than my machine could handle at that time.  My book (so
I assume the fuller version) is from Harper Perennial
