Hi, folks: The poem which begins "There is a land a marvelous land" was written by Leland B. Jacobs (1907 - 1992). He, apparently, was an active poet for children, an important person in early childhood education, and has scholarships, awards, and fellowships named for him. Forgive my ignorance! If anyone out there knows anything else about him, I'd love to hear it! Thanks. Robin -- Robin Shtulman Erving Elementary School 28 Northfield Rd.
