I'm a non fiction reader. I just finished reading "Driving Mr. Albert." I have a fondness for this kind of thing! "Albert Einstein's brain floats in a Tupperware bowl in a gray duffel bag in the trunk of a Buick Skylark barreling across America. Driving the car is journalist Michael Paterniti. Sitting next to him is an eighty-four-year-old pathologist named Thomas Harvey, who performed the autopsy on Einstein in 1955 -- then simply removed the brain and took it home. And kept it for over forty years." Before that I read, "A Beautiful Mind," the biography of John Forbes Nash, Jr., his genius and his madness. Einstein figured in that book too. Hmm. I'm digging through Jared Diamond's "Guns, Germs and Steel," the kind of book I need post-it notes to read. Fascinating but requires a lot from me so I take it one day at a time instead of devouring as I normally do. Also read this summer, "The Way We Never Were: American Families and the Nostalgia Trap." This book provided the inspiration for my .sig file. Finally, some fiction; I plan to read Tolkien. I might be the only person on this list who hasn't. The time has come. ========================================================================== "Leave It To Beaver" was not a documentary. ========================================================================= J.
