We are located 12 miles north of Seattle. Our school is 3 years old. I was
in the library shelving (naturally) but had not a book fall - a little dust
sifted onto the desks and our light bars swayed. We have a beautiful stained
glass window on one end which thankfully is intact. At home, in Seattle
itself, a few cupboards opened but no damage. The new earthquake proof
building standards appear to work!
