Hello everyone, I'm planning and coordinating a thrird grade poetry night at my Elementary School for one evening in the month of April. If anyone has any ideas regarding activities or poetry themes, I'd really appreciate any advice advice you'd be willing to share. I've never actually organized an evening program within the library (without an author or illustrator to entertain the students). Therefore, I'd appreciate any advice regarding what not to do before I make the mistake(s) myself. I have numerous books but I need something to tie everything together for the evening. I will share any information sent to me with the group as soon as I compile your responses. Thank you so much for your help! This is my first TARGET so I hope I've included enough information.
