Hi, everyone. At the end of a very busy "Read Across America" Day last Friday, my supervisor, who was a guest reader, asked me if I would present an inservice workshop this coming Friday on great read alouds for first & second grade teachers! Nothing like advance notice! We are anticipating lots of snow for the beginning of the week & I won't be able to access my collection until mid-week. I need your help! I can structure this program any way that I want, by theme, genre, new books, oldies but goodies, etc. What absolute gems (picture books) come to mind that you would definitely want to include? Many thanks, Becky Creswell Librarian, Hamilton School Bridgewater, N.J. 08807 Beezie29@worldnet.att.net =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
