Gen: Gifted and LMS

I was wondering if there are any library media specialists out there who are
also
doing Gifted and Talented Education at their schools?  I am probably going
to do this next year and wanted someone to share ideas.  I am part time, so
this will make me full time at
a school with 140 in H.S. and 150 in Elem.  My daughter, who is now in
college, was in
a gifted program and benefited from it greatly.  She went to Solar Energy
Camp in AZ
and was involved in Odyssey of the Mind.  She was a Nat'l Merit Scholar
also.
Pretty sure it was reading to her every night of her life that made her such
a good listener.

Also, do any of you know of any gifted ed. classes online?  I am going to
need to take 18 hours in the next two years.  Final question: Am I crazy?
