MID: Will Hobbs author visit

Hello all!

Just wanted to tell everyone that Mr. Will Hobbs came to our 7th and 8th
grades middle school and his visit was a wonderful success.  He kept the
kids entertained for 1 hour (he does 3 one-hour presentations per visit)
with his talk and slide show.  Just when the students started to get antsy,
he pulled them right back into his presentation.

He is a gracious person--he talked with students while signing their books;
schmoozed with the teachers between sessions and posed for numerous
pictures.  He arrived the evening before his presentation and we (a few
faculty/staff members, a few district librarians and some family members)
went out to dinner.  He signed numerous books and worked the room, making
sure that everyone received some of his attention and were able to speak
with him.

If you have nature/adventure-lovers at your school, I'd recommend him to
visit your students!
