TAR:SEC:Junior Library Guild

     I've just checked the archives but didn't find much on this topic.
Could I hear from High School Libraries out there that use the Junior
Library Guild Services?  The sales rep has been calling me for months and I
am just getting around to looking at the material he's sent me.  If you are
a high school and are using this service I'd love to  hear the pros and cons
of this program.

     From what I've read so far, it seems to me that it has the potential of
being a real time saver but the MARC diskettes are rather pricey ($25)!
Also, shipping is charged for every order after your first order. Does this
service just add confusion to maintaining your budget?  I look forward to
getting your always useful insights on this one.  Thanks in advance.
