My principal came to me today in somewhat of a panic. Seems that at the latest principals' meeting video copyright came up. It was said that they are doing spot checks of schools and some schools are getting fined (I've been telling her this for years) but what she's worried about is it was said that you can not use a video from Blockbuster or your own personal video from home, even if it meets Fair Use. According to my 2nd ed. of "Copyright for Schools" that isn't true. Does anyone know if this has been changed?
