I will be moving back to the high school level next year, leaving
my current position open.

Some details:

        - PreK - 5
        - approximately 800 children
        - supportive staff and adminstration
        - 9 month school (hard to find in Las Vegas!)
        - totally flexed schedule
        - instructional tech-oriented position
        - half-time library clerk
        - tech support onsite at least part of the time
        - fully automated
        - building is fully networked complete with broadcast video
           capabilities and internet access

Traditionally, this position has been part of a fixed, prep schedule
with little role played in technology beyond circ/cat. But this
school has volunteered to become an Edison School next year which
means it gets to adopt a new model for library services. IF I
hadn't had my heart set on returning to high school (next to my
home no less) I would not have hesitated to stay with this school and
enjoy the newly designed position.

As for the move to Edison, please know that this school
volunteered. Many staff members are eager and most are
staying ---> strong team. It should be a good experience.

Questions? Please ask!

Or if you'd like to call and speak directly to my principal,
you may do so: Linda Reese 702-799-7133

Thanks,

Joni
