Hi Folks Seems it is the season around the world for fractured fairy tales - those timeless tales with a twist in the tail! I have created a page on our school website for our teachers who are exploring this genre with the kids and there are links to a number of sites that offer ideas and activities. Go to http://www.palmdps.act.edu.au > schoolbag (from the menu below the main graphic) and under Happening in your Classroom you will see a link to Timeless Tales. Might save some time... And thank you Brant for publishing that list of books - am going to try to track down some of the ones we don't have - I LOVE Australia but living in the US would be worthwhile just for the books you have! But you talk funny :>} Kia ora Barbara Barbara Braxton Teacher Librarian Palmerston District Primary School PALMERSTON ACT 2913 AUSTRALIA T. 02 6205 7241 F. 02 6205 7242 E. barbara@austarmetro.com.au W. http://www.palmdps.act.edu.au =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
