A couple of years ago I took a brief lesxson on creating a web page using GeoCities. I wasn't ready then, but I want to pursue it now. I don't want to get involved with our school site (long story), but I do want to help a teacher create a webquest and post it where her students can find it easily. If you have used the free site: Am I on the right track? Are the ads just annoying, or are they too tempting for the students? Is it easy to access the page to make changes? I remember we had problems during the class, but isn't the Yahoo partnership fairly recent? Anything else I should know before taking this on? Any suggested free alternatives if this isn't the best idea? Thanks for any advice.
