I will be approaching our school board to request additional funding for ongoing replacement of outdated computer systems. I believe the recommended replacement of technology is every three years, but I cannot find any credible, authoritative resource I can cite this figure from and use as a recommendation. I've been trying Google searches and finding many sample replacement plans from other schools and organizations, nearly all of which recommend three years as a target, but none cite a reliable, recommending source. If anyone has a great, reliable source, article, etc. I can use to support the three year plan, I would greatly appreciate it.
