Hi! I am new to the list and new to school media centers this year. Which makes this a stressful year anyway, but on top of this we are reconfiguring our school next summer going from a k-3 to a k-5 so we will be shipping out a lot of books, and bringing in new ones. Next fall we also have our SACS accreditation. On top of this, we are building a new media center starting next fall, and I want to give input on what a media center should contain. So my real question is, where can I find standards and plans for new media centers, and what are good books or sources to consult? Any advice on any of this would be much appreciated. Thank you.
