Certified Librarians are mandated by NY State Ed in any school building with
secondary students. Begin documenting your day now, so that you can show the
administration how impossible it would be to cover two buildings and still
provide the level of services you do now.  I find that when the teachers make
demands for the library they are more likely to be heard than when it's just
me "whining." List how many and how often the teachers will need you to be in
the library with their classes, and the conflicts of timing should you be
expected to be in two buildings. I would be concerned with budget as well.
They can't expect 2 libraries to be run on the same budget as you run one
library. Make sure you request an increase.
