I received several responses to the question how do you collaborate with the computer teacher and who is responsible for teaching the following skills. This is compilation of the results. Use of encyclopedias and other reference works LMS Internet evaluation LMS Evaluation of other sources LMS Note taking LMS/ Language Arts Teacher Internet searching LMS Copyright LMS/Computer Teacher/ Language Arts Teacher Bibliography format LMS Use of data bases LMS/Computer Teacher Power Point Computer Teacher Use of scanner, digital camera and other devices Computer Teacher Several people mentioned that a key factor for the success of collaboration is to maintain friendly relationships with the members of the team. I think support from the principal is another important factor to make collaboration happen. Some people mentioned that they do not have a computer teacher in their school. They are responsible for teaching computer skills as well as information skills. Others stated that they have a computer teacher but there is no collaboration between them.
