Re: OT Travel to Alaska

It's the end of the semester and Christmas is coming but I'm dreaming of
summer.  I want to take my twelve year old son on an Alaskan adventure.  (We
had planned the cruise of a life time to Greece but canceled due to 9-11)
I'm debating renting/buying a motor home and driving cross country or flying
and cruising.  We want to see whales and salmon fishing and Denali.  Any one
been there and done that and have advice as we dream of our trip?
