LM_NET: Library Media Networking
As an elected union representative, I have been asked by our local =
school
librarian association to work with them in an attempt to have the union
become more familiar with our needs relating to contracts and dealings =
with
administrators. For example, during every negotiation the District =
attempts
to lengthen our working day without additional pay. Another area of =
concern
is budgeting. One large high school I know is give no library operating
budget.
I would be interested in hearing form those who have ideas concerning
issues they think their union could help them with or have
helped with in the past.
