I heard from many of you, some of whom actually like the books but ALL of
whom agree that kids love them! Mostly 5th grade and higher, and usually
kids who love Harry Potter and "appreciate the satire." It seems lots of
adults don't like them, but they are extremely popular in libraries where
they are available. Many thanks to all who replied. And thanks for pointing
out that they are available in paperback.
