While doing my collection development for this year, I've noticed that many of my books tend to be girl-oriented because they are the most vocal on what they would like to read. What are your 3rd-5th grade boys reading? I'm looking for fiction geared towards boys that read through a 7th grade reading level (dealing with topics that are safe for an elementary school.) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and I'll post a hit. Here's what mine are reading: Marvin Redpost Dave Sargent's Animal Pride Series Magic Attic Redwall Horrible Harry What else would you suggest? The "My Name is America" books haven't gone over too well here.
