I hae a different noise problem. I can keep the sudents to a dull roar, but our workroom is attached to the library and the teachers get in there laughing and talking so loudly that it drowns us out! I have a sign on the door that asks them to keep the door closed when classes are going on, but they come in and out of the library and leave it open. I have walked over during class and closed the door on them, but they don't seem to get the "hint". Our teachers are notorious for talking during faculty meetings, professional development, etc. and the princpal doesn't say anything then, so talking to him would do little good. Does anybody else have a problem like this? HOw did you handle it? Jeanna Dennis, Librarian Charles F.
