Brenda,
         I know your heart is in the right place.  But anthrax in the
postal system has changed our lives even more than the 9/11 attacks.  Both
the Operation Dear Abby Holiday Card Drive and the Any Serviceperson mail
programs have been canceled and all mail sent to them is to be
destroyed.  Only mail sent to specific individuals from addresses known to
them will be allowed to go through and then only after it had been
thoroughly inspected with X-rays, and then irradiated for bacteria.  After
that packages will be randomly opened for physical inspection before
reaching the addressee.  You may or may not have noticed, but the return
address on the deadly letter that was sent to Senator Daschle was from a
fourth grade class.
