Do you guys have "punishments" you'd be willing to share? I have a first grade kid who did quite a bit of marking and coloring in his book. Making him pay for it won't work because 1) his family will never send the money and 2) it wouldn't make an impression on him anyway since he's only 6 and it's not his money. His teacher was really upset with him for doing it, and in addition to that, he lied to her, made up several stories before he finally came clean. We don't just want to end with "I won't ever do it again". I'm not sure what kind of job I could come up with for him to do, but I would love to hear any suggestions you guys might have. Thanks!
